Bred by Dr. Lloyd or Doris Rosenvold, Montrose, Colorado. Owned by Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Wilcox, and last by Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Kubela, Sequin, Texas. Sire of twenty-three registered purebred Arabian foals, and two registered part-Arabs (both daughters). Even though he died young in 1972 - leaving only 23 offspring - Kontiki has been incredibly influential in Arabian race breeding.

Won 8 out of 9 races, and was 2 in the other. CMK

Bred by W.R. Brown, Berlin, New Hampshire. Exported from United States of America to South Africa in 1954 to Mr. Petrus Van der Merwe - Vlinkfontein Stud. Sire of one hundred six registered purebred Arabian foals; thirty of which were in South Africa. 81,25% Crabbet This chestnut stallion was foaled in 1936 at the Maynesboro Stud. He became a top sire at the Kellogg Institute and was the leading progenitor of the Gulastra line until Abu Farwa took over. He had quality, substance, and a good temperament

AHR #23220; EAO 2/P191-278. Bred by Egyptian Agricultural Organization, Egypt. 43,75% Crabbet. Imported from Egypt to United States of America in 1962 by Douglas B. Marshall, Houston, Texas. Dam of nine registered purebred Arabian foals; granddam of one thousand ten. Died October 26, 1973. Legion of Supreme Merit winner. A classic bay mare of excellent size and substance, she went on to win many championships at halter and performance including U.S. Top Ten awards in halter, park and English Pleasure. Considered by many to be the most influential mare ever imported from Egypt
